• Question: Why does our brain block out memories when they are very painful?

      i think we have learnt not to think about it, we can conditon this so we bury things deep, other people cant do this and that’s why it’s at the forefront in their day to day lives. Its also evolution sometimes the brain can think its better to forget or to remember because of its too much effort to do the opposite.
