This is a really simple and easy question to answer – you’d be dead! Your brain has about 100 billion neurons. Those neurons do everything from higher order thinking, like planning for the future, and feeling emotion, through to making your lungs breathe and your heart beat. A baby starts growing neurons within the first couple of weeks from conception, so even an embryo of only about 2 weeks has more than two neurons. With only two neurons, you wouldn’t have enough brain power to keep your body working.
