• Question: When working with the prison inmates are some of them arrogant and hard to work with or do you know how to deal with those sort of people?

      Some can be especially if they want something and you say no. It can get heated it but yes I have the skills and training to talk to them and explain so they could understand where I am coming from and we are there to help them. Most of the inmates behave because they don’t want to make others wait for their appointment or be refused treatment.

      If there are situations where they are being abusive or threatening I raise the alarm and will call prison officers in.

      But most of the prisoners I have found to be respectful and tend to listen and respond to the treatment I give them. Some share that they miss their families and regret what they have done.
