I love teaching students because I really like seeing them get to that moment where something they’ve been struggling with clicks into place. Everyone finds something hard over the course of their degree, and it’s great to be the person who helps them to over come that. In terms of my research, I like that what I do is useful. Lots of the things that can be discovered are really interesting, but might not directly help people. In health psychology, most of what I’m doing is relevant for people’s lives, and can help them to live healthier lives. That’s really important to me.
